ArtLink paint The Plaza

Invited by GNA architects, ArtLink played on the concept of classical images with a contemporary twist. The main works selected for the mini exhibition at the 5,000ft² penthouse are two-and three-dimensional developments of Venus de Milo into contemporary figures by Debbie Han. Working with digital drawings and traditional Korean lacquer inlayed with mother-of-pearl, Han portrays her ideas of the internationality of human gestures and the concepts of beauty.

The entrance hallway to the apartment is lined with three works of young kings by Korean painter Min kyu Kim, as well as the life-size ‘Bowing Grace’. Further pieces include ‘Sitting Three Graces’ recently awarded the prestigious Sovereign Foundation Asian Art Prize.

The collection also includes works by Korean artist Myoung jo Jeong, French artist Bruno Cochet, Turkish artist Akif Hakan Celebi, and Latvian artist Paulis Postazs alongside photographs of classical sculptures.
