King & Grove to manage iconic Tides Hotel in South Beach, Miami

King & Grove has announced that it was selected to manage the iconic Tides hotel in South Beach, effective in December of this year, following the earlier launch of two proprties in Montauk – The Surf Lodge and Ruschmeyer’s.
On behalf of CG Tides, the new owners of the hotel, Joseph Chetrit said, “We are ecstatic that the Tides will become the newest King & Grove branded and managed property. By partnering with King & Grove,
we are confident that our plans to rejuvenate the Tides and establish it as the preeminent luxury resort on Ocean Drive will be realized.”
Wiith an emphasis on bespoke guest services,
authentic and accessible food and beverage concepts and beautifully crafted environments, King & Grove hotels are defined by a return to true hospitality. With its rich Art Deco architecture and its vibrant
location, the Tides offers the ideal, nostalgic environment for King & Grove’s unique brand of modern luxury.

Enhancements to the hotel will include a new design concept for the public areas, refreshed guest rooms, a new food and beverage concept, a more inviting poolside guest experience, King & Grove signature
amenities and immersive service according to King & Grove’s Ben Pundole.
The King & Grove team is comprised of accomplished hospitality professionals with practical and creative knowledge in operations, design, food and beverage, marketing, real estate development and finance.
King & Grove was founded in 2010 by Ed Scheetz and Ben Pundole, formerly of Morgans Hotel Group. Earlier this year, The Chetrit Group partnered with Ed Scheetz in King & Grove to dramatically and positively expand the brand.
King & Grove currently operates The Surf Lodge and Ruschmeyer’s in Montauk and has multiple properties in development in New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago.
