TRYP by Wyndham debuts in Central America

The addition of TRYP San José Sabana expands the select-service hotel brand’s Latin American portfolio, which currently consists of 14 TRYP by Wyndham hotels in South America.

The four-star TRYP San José Sabana, conveniently located just 20 minutes from Juan Santamaria International Airport and ten minutes from downtown San José, gives guests direct access to the city’s business sectors and best-known attractions, including La Sabana Park, just one block from the hotel; Escazú, known for some of the area’s best shopping, dining and nightlife; and the city’s museums and theaters.
 
Spacious guest rooms and suites feature contemporary furnishings with large windows and picturesque city and mountain views. Additionally, the hotel offers the TRYP by Wyndham brand’s signature fitness rooms as well as oversized family rooms with bunk beds for children and large, separate beds for adults.
 
Guests can dine daily at the on-site Gastro Bar en la 38, featuring a premium breakfast buffet, a wide variety of wines and cocktails and tapas-style dishes inspired by local and international flavors.
 
The hotel offers 500 square meters (nearly 5,400 square feet) of flexible meeting and event space that can accommodate up to 280 people. Each meeting room is equipped with the latest in audio-visual technology.
 
The TRYP by Wyndham brand will continue its expansion in the Americas with the opening of its first location in the United States, the 173-room TRYP New York City Times Square South, later this year. Additional properties are scheduled to open in Panama City, Panama, and Bogotá, Colombia, in early 2012.
