The Rezidor Hotel Group has opened the Radisson Blu Hotel, Milan, The contemporary 250-guestroom hotel was formerly known as the Chedi Milan, under the management of Singapore-based GHM. It is situated in Milan’s modern Bovisa district and has been designed by Jaya Ibrahim who has created a blend of Italian sophistication and Indonesian elegance.
Understated elegance characterizes the hotel's 250 guest rooms and suites with a spacious average size of 37 m². Embodying a sense of inner calm, the rooms with chic limestone bathrooms feature subtle earth tones and strong white accents, offset by wood, bronze, stone, mosaic and textured ceramic. Each guest room boasts hi-tech amenities such as satellite TV, LCD screen, individual climate control and Radisson’s signature service: free high-speed internet access.
The rebranding has seen the introduction of Rezidor’s Italian restaurant concept Filini where contemporary design, lightening and music create an atmosphere alla italiana. Filini opens out onto a beautiful Garden Courtyard for al fresco seating. The hotel further comprises a Lounge Bar situated between the restaurant, main lobby and meeting rooms.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Milano offers 8 meeting rooms, a conference room, an exclusive boardroom and a separate delegate entrance and a luxurious Health and Fitness Club boasting a steam room, a private sauna, a heated indoor swimming pool under a glass atrium, whirlpools, a fitness centre and numerous treatment rooms.
The hotel is located 6.5 km northeast from the historic city centre and a 30 minutes drive from the airport Milan Malpensa. The city's exhibition centres, Fiera Milano City and Fiera Milano, are respectively just 3 km and 7.5 km away.
