Leonardo Hotels has held the topping out ceremony for what it describes as the building shell of Munich's largest construction site”.
The hotel is located on the site of the old Knorr Bremse Corporation head office near the Olympia Business Park. The four star, 424 room hotel covers a total of approx. 1,800 sqm, and is expected to be opened in November of this year
Daniel Roger Managing Director of Leonardo Hotels said: “The results of the hotel already represent an optically inspirational fusion of puristic and tasteful design. It is characterised through its elegance, comfort and state of the art technology.”
The hotel’s interiors have been created by Andreas Neudahm, Head Interior Designer who says, “The epicentre of the hotel and the new “In Place” of Munich is the lobby with its spacious dimensions. The inimitable symbiosis of a lobby, bar and lounge invites you to meet with friends, party or even just relax.”
The hotel’s modern conference rooms cover over 1,800 sqm, with 7 meeting rooms as well as a ballroom which can accommodate up to 800 persons and is accessible and suitable for exhibition vehicles. A yet-to-be-completed modern wellness lounge will ensure relaxation and a high level of balance: stylish relaxation rooms, modern fitness equipment and saunas invite you to relax and to forget all the hustle and bustle behind you after a stressful day.
Leonardo Hotels is the European division of Fattal Hotels, which was founded in 1998 by David Fattal. Leonardo Hotels has been present on the German market since 2007 and currently operates more than 60 hotels in Germany, Belgium, Switzerland and Israel, with hotels soon to open in other attractive locations across Europe.
