Hilton reveals Canopy Washington D.C

The Hilton Group has announced their innovative new project, Canopy by Hilton Washington D.C Bethesda North, projected for a 2017 opening, in association with Buccini/ Pollin Group.

The 177-guestroom hotel includes 23 suites and two three-bay Presidential suites and is located at 11580 Old Georgetown Road,towards the centre of Pike & Rose, a new mixed-use development featuring a blend of restaurants, retailers, and live performance venues.

The hotel is inspired and influenced by its local surroundings, engaging with locally sourced produce from Maryland including D.C. favorites like soft shell crabs and half-smokes from iconic Ben’s Chili Bowl.

The bar showcases an array of locally-made beers sourced from local breweries including: Baying Hound Aleworks in Rockville, Denizens Brewing Company in Silver Spring and Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, as well as DC Brau Brewing Company. Meanwhile, Guests will be greeted with gluten-free Meringue Rose Cookies from Bethesda’s own Red Bandana Bakery.

The hotel offers 4,350ft² of meeting space and a 3,100ft² ballroom for meetings and groups.
