Yangon, Myanmar, will gain it’s first lifestyle hotel this September with the debut of Hotel G Yangon, an 85-room design hotel located at the heart of the city’s vibrant entertainment neighbourhood.
Comprising 85 guestrooms ranging from 15m² to 30m² across four categories – Good, Great, Greater and Greatest – each has been designed in wood tones that contrast with coloured walls and artworks for a contemporary take on Myanmar’s design heritage.
All guestrooms also provide complimentary WiFi; a phone with free local and international calls and data while roaming in Yangon; Bluetooth stereo alarm; LED smart TV; an e-reader application through which guests can access 6,000 international newspapers and magazines; safe; and tea and coffee making facilities.
Elsewhere, at the heart of the hotel will be an open plan lobby and signature Babett Eatery & Bar featuring exposed brickwork, wooden tables and suede banquettes. Open throughout the day it will offer a menu from Executive Chef Javier Ballesta.
