Esthec SRX presents design freedom

Esthec® debuted its latest product innovation, Esthec SRX, during Milan Design Week, presenting two new widths to its Esthec Terrace collection.

Now offering three plank widths that perfectly combine with eachother, Esthec SRX was developed in close collaboration with architects and designers, with the aim of offering increased design freedom. The latest additions – 72.5mm (S) and 175mm (X) – complement the exisiting 100mm (R) plank width. Together, the S and R planks have the same width as the X plank, opening up endless creative possibilities to combine the three widths.

Marcel van der Spek, Commercial Director of Esthec, comments: As an innovative company, Esthec has always invested in new developments and improvements. We constantly monitor market needs and developments. The SRX range allows architects and designers to completely move away from the standard plank pattern of traditional materials and create any design they wish.”

Advantages of Esthec Terrace include its splinter-free surface that does not warp like PVC or wood, as well as being non-slip in both dry and wet conditions.

Speaking of the product, architect Francesca Raccolti of Studio DF5073 conlcudes: “Esthec Terrace has always been a unique and interesting product for architects and designers, because of the versatility and functionality of the material. With the new plank widths, Esthec Terrace offers me, as an architect, even more freedom to create my own designs. On top of that, Esthec Terrace looks simply stunning. The subtle blend of colours in each shade of Esthec is special and unique. It adds a touch of liveliness to a terrace.”
