Vanderhurd unveils Autumn/Winter collection
Bespoke luxury textile manufacturer Vanderhurd has announced the launch of its new Autumn/Winter 2017 rug collection, From the Point.
Evolving from its Spring/Summer 2017 collection – To the Point – It includes dhurries and carpets combining cut pile and flat weave, and employs both silk and wool yarns. Highly textured, the tonal Autumnal colours of the designs are emphasised across five new rugs, each a variation on the timeless chevron pattern.
Reimagining the Bargello stitch, famed in the 1960s and, before that, in 7th century Florence, several of the new designs are finished with tassels and fringes, while monochrome pieces join new warm hues.
At the 40th Decorex International (17-20 September) Vanderhurd’s ‘From the Point’ will be presented alongside a new fabric design ‘Aerial’, accompanied by several fresh new colour ways to its popular embroidered fabric de- signs which include Verde, Saffron, Aqua, Lapiz, Cloud and Blush.
The collection will be exhibited for the first time at the 2017 edition of Decorex International, from 17–20 September, alongside new fabric design Aerial, and accompanied by new verde, saffron, aqua, lapiz, cloud and blush colourways.
