Focus/17 reveals talk line-up
Focus/17 will take place this year from 17 – 22 September, as part of London Design Festival, bringing together the industry at Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour.
With 120 Design Centre showrooms taking part, the inclusive event is all about sharing ideas, passion, inspiration and conversations with influencers, established makers, emerging innovators and luxury brands.
Over 100 immersive experiences will include talks, demonstrations, workshops, receptions and discovery tours that explore the journey, from concept to reality, of the definitive new seasonal collections.
The programme features a line-up of international speakers including Patricia Urquiola, Nipa Doshi, Katharine Pooley, Audrey Carden, Madeleine Weinrib and Kim Wilkie, among others, who will share their experiences throughout the authoritative Conversations in Design series.
A cultural event in the broadest sense, the busy programme further includes a fresh dining experiences from Tom’s Kitchen at the Tatler Restaurant, inventive pop-ups, floral displays by Tony Marklew and a specially commissioned aerial installation of re-engineered paper by Cutture.
