Wilson Associates expands team

Wilson Associates has announced the expansion of its North American team, following the design firm’s strategic alliance with Zaha Hadid Architects and Arcplus.

The first appointment at Wilson Associates’ Dallas studio sees Veronica Sandoval apply her experience on hotel renovations as the team’s Project Designer. Sandoval joins the company following five years at Forrest Perkins, where she worked on the Fairmont Royal York in Toronto; St. Anthony Hotel in San Antonio, Texas; and the Marriott Marquis in New York City.

Likewise, Louie Sison has been unveiled as the studio’s Senior Designer following his work for Jeffrey Beers International on large-scale hospitality projects, while Rachel Frazier serves as Project Designer after expanding her experience in both residential and hospitality interiors.

The final appointment in the Dallas studio introduces Carrie Jones, former Design Director at fashion brand Fossil, as Project Manager. Jones’ inaugural works for Wilson Associates include the $1.5 billion expansion of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, which is designed to resemble back-to-back guitars and scheduled to open in mid-2019.

Elsewhere, Wilson Associates’ Los Angeles Studio has named Jezzica Lindkrantz as Project Designer and given Erni Taslim the title of Associate Design Director. Taslim, who previously worked as Design Director of G+ Gulla Jonsdottir Design, incorporates an essence of nature into her designs, while Lindkrantz has been introduced to apply her knowledge of the fashion industry and cultural trends into interior design.
