Tuuci presents Luna lighting system
Tuuci is set to present its Luna lighting system at IMM Cologne and Maison&Objet in January, featuring integrated LEDs for selected canopy umbrellas.
The Miami-based company has developed LED lighting that can be fitted to the ribs of the cantilever models from the Ocean Master MAX and Plantation MAX ranges, illuminating upwards into the canopy to distribute light evenly. Using a sensor with touch functionality, the light can also be dimmed, or switched on or off by applying slight pressure.
Elsewhere, the umbrellas’ cantilevered canopy can be tilted at different angles to both horizontal and vertical positions, and combined with other Tuuci bases – now available with a powder-coated finish in six different colours, including hammered bronze, espresso and sea shell white, as well as with an Aluma teak finish in four different shades from natural to aspen white.
