The submission deadline for AHEAD Americas – the awards for hospitality experience and design – is approaching, with the programme accepting entries for its 2019 edition until 28 February.

Only projects completed between November 2017 – December 2018 are eligible, and judges will be seeking out entries demonstrating aesthetic excellence and commercial viability, as well schemes that create a unique and memorable guest experience whilst satisfying the client brief.

Categories include those for specific facilities such as guestrooms, event spaces, lobby and public spaces and suite, as well as awards of wider scope including statues for renovation, conversion and newbuild.

A series of special awards will also recognise the innovative people and projects driving the industry forward across prizes for new concept and outstanding contribution, whilst the AHEAD Americas Hotel of the Year Award will celebrate the region’s best new opening.
