Ethimo unveils Highland-inspired Kilt chair

Ethimo has unveiled the Marcello Ziliani-designed Kilt chair, an outdoor piece available with a teak or stainless steel frame.
Comprising a backrest of dense rope weave and a stackable form, the chair combines comfort and resistance for a solid, light and versatile accessory in contemporary contract contexts.
“Kilt takes its cues from the image of the famous piece of fabric wrapped around the waists of the proud inhabitants of the Highlands,” Ziliani explains. “In the same way, the backrest is wrapped around the chair while remaining detached like a skirt that leaves the knee bare.”
