Hotel & Resort Design South unveils 2023 conference programme

Hotel & Resort Design South (HRDS), an event for hotel and resort design professionals in the Southern States and LATAM, has unveiled its 2023 conference programme. The programme includes a range of speakers and panel discussions, covering topics from travel horizons and design trends, to shaping hospitality through regional influences.

The inaugural conference, which will take place on 6-7 June at Miami Beach Convention Center, will begin with a keynote featuring Francisco Jove, Principal Owner, Modus Operandi; Kavitha Iyer, Head of Design, Americas, IHG Hotels & Resorts; Emilio Perez, Senior Continent Leader Global Design, CALA, Marriott International. Marine and land-based design will then be brought together in a joint session titled ‘A tale of design – creating an emotional connection’, with panellists hailing from the likes of Virgin Voyages, Design Pool Inc and Dash Design.

Other highlights on the recently announced programme include ‘Shaping hospitality design through regional influences’ and ‘What’s new in fast design, guest loyalty and micro experiences?’.

“The Hotel & Resort Design South Conference is a must-attend for anyone involved in the design and development of hotels and resorts in the Southern States and LATAM,” says Toby Walters, show organiser. “The programme reflects current topics and trends emerging from this vibrant region, and we are excited to bring together such a talented group of speakers and attendees for the very first time.”

Visitors to HRDS will also have access to another schedule of content at the co-located CSI Design Expo Americas.
