Fairmont to launch flagship property in Spain
Fairmont Hotels and Resorts is gearing up to open its flagship property in Spain, Fairmont La Hacienda Costa del Sol.
Comprising 213 rooms, suites and private villas, the property features bright and open interiors with light wood details, organic textures and warm cream tones, paired with views of the Mediterranean throughout. Carefully selected pieces by local Andalusian artisans meanwhile offer a connection to the local creative community.
The resort’s 47 villas with private pools and expansive terraces have been inspired by a traditional Andalusian village, set along charming, whitewashed streets.
The resort will feature five distinct dining venues, each offering a unique gastronomic experience. A highlight will be the resort’s signature restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Benito Gómez, while more relaxed options such as the poolside bistro celebrate the region’s fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The resort will also be home to a private beach club which is set to transform throughout the day to a lively evening spot.
A 1,800m² spa will offer views of the sea and mountains alongside holistic treatments inspired by natural elements, hydrotherapy facilities, a hammam, and a dedicated yoga studio and cardio lounge for holistic fitness.
