Hotel Hendricks unveils spring opening date

Set to open its doors this spring, Hotel Hendricks is the latest addition to Fortuna Realty Group’s collection of Manhattan hotels. Comprising 176 guestrooms as well as two rooftop bars and a Latin-infused restaurant, the property has been designed by LA-based Marcello Pozzi and offers views of the Empire State Building and surrounding cityscape.

“We are thrilled to introduce Hotel Hendricks as we continue to become synonymous with accessible luxury in New York City,” says Morris Moinian, Chairman of Fortuna Realty Group. “The success of our existing hotels will be further solidified as we unveil this trendy sanctuary amongst the hustle and bustle of Midtown. Hotel Hendricks will be a go-to destination for guests looking to indulge in one of the most exhilarating parts of the city and we’re so looking forward to bringing the property to life this spring.”

The hotel’s guestrooms and common spaces will feature an interior of bronze, malachite, polished copper and exposed concrete, with custom furniture handmade in Italy accompanying fur accents, and spa-style bathrooms stocked with Argan bath amenities by Cote Bastide.

Sietse Nabben, General Manager of Hotel Hendricks, explains: “Hotel Hendricks is going to bring so many elements of added value to the Midtown area. The amenities at the property along with the design and exceptional F&B are slated to continue giving guests a reason to choose the hotel as their destination of choice. We’re excited to introduce Hotel Hendricks to frequent guests of the Fortuna Realty Group portfolio along with newcomers looking to experience our innovative approach to excellence in hotel service.”

Hotel Hendricks will also offer three F&B options including one full-service restaurant, a rooftop lounge and a chic lobby café. Inspired by Latin culture, the property’s on-site restaurant, Carbonero, will offer a curated selection of authentic dishes tapas-style with a modern twist. The Zoo rooftop meanwhile will serve creative cocktails and shared plates against backdrop views from the top floor, while the Lobby Bar will be located opposite the reception area.
