Celebrating the best new hospitality projects in the Middle East & Africa, the winners of AHEAD MEA 2020 have been revealed as part of a digital ceremony broadcast on the AHEAD website.

andBeyond and Fox Browne Creative were amongst the biggest successors on the night, taking home a total of four awards for their projects, Ngala Treehouse and Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. The former triumphed in the Lodges, Cabins & Tented Camps and New Concept categories, whilst the latter scooped the Renovation, Restoration & Conversion and prestigious AHEAD MEA Hotel of the Year prizes.

Spanning the length and breadth of the region, from the coastal dunes of the Namib Desert in the south to the charming riads of Marrakech in the north, the diverse list of winners also recognised ambitious projects like an architectural wonder by Zaha Hadid in the heart of Dubai; a secluded Moroccan retreat set within 28 acres of Mediterranean orchards, fragrant citrus trees and olive groves; and a colonial-style camp that propels guest back to the life of a 1920s explorer.
