Hotel and Resort Design South (HRDS) has released its schedule of content for 2025.

Now in its third year, experts from brands including Hilton, Marriott International, IHG and many more will take to the stage to share their insights, analysis and trend predictions. This accredited conference will take place 3-4 June at the Miami Beach Convention Centre, co-located with Cruise Ship Interiors Design Expo Americas and Cruise Xperience Innovation Summit.

From diving into ways to successfully align conflicting stakeholder needs during the conversion process to tapping into the next transformation of the evolving wellness trend, the HRDS schedule of content will span everything from challenging realities to future-thinking trend prediction.

Conferences include Shared Horizons: thinking across hospitality design disciplines and the keynote, Leaders Debate – What’s the value brands are bringing to different regions across Southern States and CALA. The HRDS conference will be IDCEC accredited, with attendance contributing to design professionals’ required development hours.

In addition to the panel discussions taking place in the HRDS lounge, visitors are invited to attend intimate conversations with design minds from leading hotel brands and procurement companies. These hybrid networking and content sessions will lift the curtain on brand practices, procurement processes and how they are evolving their identity.

Upcoming sessions include the GMBHA Lunch & Learn with Six Senses, Meet the Brand with Mitch Parker, COO – FF&E Division & Partner – The Parker Company and the NEWH Lunch & Learn, featuring among others Johnathan Garrison, Vice President, Luxury Brands, Global Design US and Canada – Marriott International.

Other key speakers include Alex Mai, Regional Vice President, Development, Latin America & Caribbean –  IHG Hotels & Resorts, Kavitha Iyer, Vice President of Architecture and Design – Choice Hotels, Jessica Shea, VP Wellness, Retail & Leisure Operations – Hilton, Nate Siehr, Principal – The Big Key Group and Paul Bishop, Founder – Bishop Design.

HRDS is co-located with CSI Americas, the world’s only exhibition and conference exclusively dedicated to connecting the buyers and suppliers of the cruise design industry. With the newbuild order book having grown by around 50% throughout 2024 and the first quarter of 2025, the cruise ship interiors industry is as fertile as the hospitality interiors.

This industry-leading show features an insightful conference with both an interiors and guest experience as its focus, content-led networking and over 300 exhibitors experienced across all areas of hospitality design.
