IFFS announces 2016 plans
International Furniture Fair Singapore Pte Ltd has announced preliminary plans for the 2016 edition of the International Furniture Fair Singapore/ASEAN Furniture Show (IFFS/AFS), including a fresh approach to fairground design and new show dates.
Co-located with The Décor Show and furniPRO Asia, the show which aims to enhance the experience for exhibitors and buyers alike, will take place from 10 – 13 March 2016 in Singapore Expo and visitors can expect a brand new encounter with the fair next year.
Ernie Koh, Chairman of IFFS Pte Ltd, comments: “The ASEAN furniture exhibition circuit is one that is gaining prominence on the global stage. This year, we had a robust group of manufacturers from a record number of 39 countries, with a significant increase in European presence. The industry can expect to see even richer content at IFFS next year, as we host some high profile US brands here for the first time.”
Apart from a fuller exhibitor profile, IFFS 2016 also promises to be a novel experience for visitors – whether repeat or first-time attendees of the show. Koh adds: “As IFFS undergoes this revamp, we seek to identify possible collaborations that will elevate ASEAN presence internationally. I’m excited about the opportunities ahead, and more will be revealed at a later stage.
