Russell Sage designs Decorex bar
Decorex has announced that renowned designer Russell Sage is to design this year’s champagne bar.
Sage is well known for his hotel designs with a portfolio that includes The Goring Hotel and The Zetter Townhouse Hotel.
The champagne bar is a focal point of Decorex International and has previously been designed by Les Trois Garcons and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio.
Sage comments: “I was thrilled to be asked to create this popular space for Decorex. We’ve chosen to collaborate with our Royal holding friends at Gainsborough Silk to really showcase and celebrate a company with over hundred years of skilled craftsmanship, as well as feature a few of its incredible stories of service to some of the greatest buildings and projects in the world. I love to support British craftsmanship and this seemed the perfect opportunity to create something memorable for Decorex guests to enjoy.”
Coinciding with the opening of London Design Festival, Decorex International 2015 will take place in the grounds of Syon House showcasing an extensive range of exhibitors, new products and luxurious design.
