Sleepover Miami hosts exclusive tours

Taking place on 8-10 May 2016, Sleepover Miami is set to host exclusive design-led tours of leading local hotel projects.

To date, the programme will include tours of the likes of: Thompson Miami Beach, designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio; The Miami Beach Edition, designed by Ian Schrager Design Studio and Yabu Pushelberg; 1 Hotel South Beach, designed by Meyer Davis Studio and NGNY; and Faena Hotel Miami Beach.

Hosted by industry leading names, the tours will offer an insight into new hospitality concepts and identify new opportunities for future hotel developments. Additional tours and dinner are set to be hosted at Sixty Hotels’ recent opening Nautilus.

Meanwhile, host hotel The Hall is the new bohemian South Beach boutique from Joie de Vivre. The classic 1940s Art Deco hotel has been transformed by interior designer Robert McKinley, drawing inspiration from Miami’s mid-century beach culture as well as Caribbean and Latin American destinations. The result is a tropical vintage design that celebrates the heritage of the building while incorporating a playful and casual beach vibe.

Networking at Sleepover Miami is informal, taking place in unusual and interesting venues. Speakers will be globally recognised but locally based, offering their take on their native city, and the wider worlds of hospitality and design.

The carefully curated content will offer access to new design ideas, new business opportunities and new contacts that are equally as committed to moving the hotel industry forwards.
