Reminiscence
Jaipur Rugs x Hiren Patel

Jaipur Rugs and architect Hiren Patel have collaborated to create a collection of contemporary rugs, Reminiscence, that reflect on personal stories of travel, new learnings and uncanny experiences, all reflected in a series of paintings created by Patel. These artworks have then been transformed into handwoven rugs that offer a different perspective to the designs with their texture and weave. With this collection, the experiences and stories collected from around the world have taken on a more dynamic life-sized approach and ceased to be static and two-dimensional. The rugs hold together a moment in time, frozen in their yarns, and together, Patel and Jaipur Rugs captivate imagination and conjure up feelings of nostalgia for deeply cherished moments.

Andaz London Liverpool Street
Muzéo

Muzéo was appointed to transform the publics areas of Andaz London Liverpool Street and tell the story of the rupture between the heritage of Shoreditch and its eclectic cosmopolitan life today. Throughout the spaces, the firm curated a collection of unexpected and rebellious mixed-media original artworks, hand-painted street art, and back-lit installations to create immersive artwork scenes. Muzéo also designed and illustrated the lobby fresco and commissioned artists Jordan Heraut and La Letterie to execute the hand-painted contemporary graphic mural. The brand also collaborated with enigmatic East London collective LeGun to produce the anachronistic reception mural. LeGun illustrated the artwork, which Muzéo then printed and installed using the latest thermo-adhesive wallcovering directly onto the textured brickwork.
