Benoy strengthens hospitality offer with Senior Associate hire

Global master planner Benoy has appointed Zaynib Khan to its London architecture team as Senior Associate Director working across workplace and hospitality projects.

Khan brings over 11 years of professional experience as an architect, designer and project manager across the hospitality and workplace sectors. As a dynamic designer she specialises in hotel programming and layouts with experience across a range of market classes of both chain-affiliated and independent hotels. Over the course of her career, she has delivered complex projects with major branded hotel companies such as Hilton and Marriott International.

Her expertise includes site viability studies, audit work and client monitoring services for hotel developers and operators such as Derwent, Ennismore and Staycity Group. Khan is particularly interested in how post-Covid travel trends affect how hotels need to adapt, such as enhancing the public spaces of hotels and expanding their rooms, as well as taking into account advancements in technology to ensure that customers receive a seamless journey from entering a hotel right through to going to sleep.

“I’m excited to join Benoy as Senior Associate Director to build upon their existing portfolio of hotels and strengthen their offer to clients globally within the hospitality sector,” comments Khan. “I’m passionate about designing meaningful spaces that evoke emotional connections to create a memorable guest experience.”
