Harper appointed COO for Malmaison and Hotel du Vin

Malmaison and Hotel du Vin have announced the appointment of Scott Harper to the new role of Chief Operating Officer for both brands. He will continue to report to Guus Bakker, CEO of Malmaison Hotel du Vin and CEO EMEA of parent company Frasers Hospitality.

Harper brings to the role existing hospitality experience having worked as COO of Malmaison since 2012. Prior to this he was Group Operations Director for Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, and has previously held senior and General Manager roles at the Columbus Monaco, Blue Water Antigua and Millenium Bailey hotels.

Bakker comments: “I am delighted to welcome Scott to the new role. Both brands continue to grow and with several new hotels opening this year and next, their popularity as the UK’s leading boutique hotel brands remains as strong as ever.
