Rosewood Hotel Group appoints Trish Luyckx
Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Trish Luyckx as vice president of design and project services for the Hong Kong-based practice.
Luyckx will assist John Shannon, senior vice president of design and project services, managing and overseeing 27 new projects currently announced across the Rosewood Hotels & Resorts, New World Hotels & Resorts and Pentahotels brands.
Luyckx has more than 22 years experience in hotel operations and technical services and product design, with projects under her supervision spanning the Americas, Caribbean, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Prior to joining Rosewood Hotel Group, Luyckx held various positions with the Hyatt Hotels Corporation and Hyatt International for more than 19 years including vice president of product and brand design and vice president of operational planning. Previously, she held food and beverage positions at Hyatt Regency Dead Sea Resort & Spa in Israel, Park Hyatt Johannesburg and Crown Plaza Sandton in South Africa.
Rosewood Hotel Group is currently pursuing an aggressive expansion strategy with a target of 130 hotels in operation by 2020.
