Stellar Works appoints industry veteran to head up UK office
As part of the company’s reboot of its European, Middle East and Africa division, Japanese-owned hospitality furniture brand Stellar Works has announced the appointment of Deniz Albayrak as Head of Sales for its UK team.
Albayrak, who joins Stellar Works after 14 years at Turkish manufacturer Parla, brings extensive experience in working with design-led brands and hospitality clients. Based in London, he will oversee both Stellar Works’ standard Collections and Bespoke, the company’s customised hospitality furniture division, ensuring dedicated and responsive service for partners across the UK.
“Reestablishing our UK operations underscores the UK market’s – especially London’s – importance to the global hospitality industry. After supporting this market with our US and EU teams, it is now wonderful to be back in the UK, aiding our clients in this key region,” says Andrew Yang, Chief Growth Officer of Stellar Works. “With Deniz leading our efforts, we look forward to strengthening our relationships across the UK design and hospitality sectors.”
“I’m excited to help reintroduce Stellar Works to the UK, a market that has long been a global hub for design and hospitality,” adds Albayrak. “Strengthening our presence here allows us to better support clients both locally and internationally, and I look forward to building meaningful partnerships across the region.”
Albayrak will work closely with Yang and provide additional reporting to the company’s CEO, Daisuke Hironaka. His appointment signifies a renewed emphasis on local service, enhanced project coordination and deeper involvement with the UK’s dynamic architecture and design community.
Building on Stellar Works’ successful track record in London, including projects such as The Londoner Hotel, The Peninsula London and The Coal Shed, this increased presence also supports the brand’s plans for a future London showroom. Collectively, these developments ensure that UK partners benefit from more efficient communication, closer collaboration and a truly local connection to Stellar Works’ global expertise.
