Amtico launches new colour palettes

Amtico’s in-house design team have created Colour Edit – a range of four new palettes across twenty-five coloured products. The palettes seek to change the way architects, designers and specifiers understand, experience and ultimately use colour. The products are intended to be mixed and matched with one of Amtico’s pre-designed signature laying patterns.

The Colour Edit palettes are: Stucco, featuring nine softly-textured colourways consisting of dappled watercolours, soft concretes and dry plaster; Modernist, comprising five colourways created through the study of brutalist architecture; Diffusion, which boasts five pastel colourways offering a mild palette with chalky texture; and Encaustic, a series of six colourways inspired by the saturated tones of stones, minerals and marbles.

Amtico’s Design Manager, Karen Quarterman, comments: “Our in-house design team created these 25 products to challenge the way people see and experience colour. Colour Edit presents a spectrum of tones that encourage you to experiment with colour on the floor; the additional four textures add depth and variety and expand the possibilities with each colourway.”
