Amtico unveils new Designers’ Choice floors for hospitality interiors
Amtico has expanded its ready-to-specify Designers’ Choice collection with nine new floors that translate the in-house studio’s latest research into three macro trends – Restorative Spaces, Soft Utilitarian and Nostalgic Reset.
Each combines a precision-cut laying pattern with pre-selected woods, stones, colours or abstracts from Amtico’s premium luxury vinyl tile (LVT) collection, allowing designers and specifiers to deliver statement pattern backed by high-performance LVT.
The Designers’ Choice collection – created entirely in-house – distils months of colour, material and spatial exploration into balanced, on-trend combinations. For example, five muted concretes in Large Parquet can deliver a soothing ‘Restorative Spaces’ lobby, or pearl-pigmented Russet Burnished Metal framed by Darley Oak in Gatsby Square Large creates a Soft Utilitarian lounge rug design.
Nostalgic Reset brings a vintage flair, whether through a two-tone Chantilly Weave in Bordeaux Oak and Buxton Oak, or the sculptural Lune Small, which sets Packwood Stone against wine-hued Stucco Roselle.
Specification is straightforward, with designers quoting their chosen design’s DC code, and Amtico manufacturing and cutting the floor to order at its Coventry factory using the brand’s premium Signature LVT collection.
Bespoke designs are achieved through the Endless Possibilities (EP) code after selecting a laying pattern. While the pattern geometry stays, any Signature product can be swapped in. Amtico’s online Room Visualiser also allows designs to be previewed within minutes, and users can upload project photos and sketches to view the flooring ‘in situ’.
Amtico Signature LVT also provides the technical backbone – a durable 1mm wear layer, integrated antimicrobial protection and a 20-year commercial warranty. Every Designers’ Choice floor can also be produced as Amtico Safety, which meets the verified EN13845 enhanced slip resistance standard, and specified in the manufacturer’s bio-attributed PVC for a lower carbon option.
By adding these nine designs, Amtico provides hospitality specifiers with a concise, trend-aligned menu of floors that arrive on site exactly as drawn, delivering design impact and proven performance without delay.
