AT&C transforms energy management through smart automation
London-based audio visual technology integrator AT&C is enabling hotels to cut energy waste and carbon emissions while improving the guest experience through its Energy Management as a Service (EMaaS) model.
Specialists in delivering immersive, customised, integrated AV solutions, AT&C’s system makes energy savings effortless and invisible as travellers become increasingly mindful of a hotel’s environmental impact.
Each guestroom thermostat comes equipped with a built-in occupancy sensor. When the room is vacant, the system automatically adjusts the temperature to an energy-saving level. When guests return, comfort resumes – seamlessly and without intervention. This subtle automation can reduce HVAC runtime by up to 40% without any loss of comfort.
Unlike traditional Building Management Systems (BMS), AT&C’s EMaaS model requires no capital investment. For a monthly fee, the service includes professional installation, real-time monitoring, ESG data for reporting, lifetime hardware warranty and UK-based support.
“Our clients can see savings from day one without having to dip into their capex funds,” explains Jonathan Nuttall, Sustainability Sales Manager at AT&C. “It’s a risk-free way to futureproof operations while hitting ESG goals.
Operating in over 7,000 hotels worldwide, including IHG and Marriott, the system sees a typical return on investment in 12–18 months, alongside demonstrable reductions in energy costs and CO₂ emissions.
Monthly reports generated by the system support Scope 1 and Scope 2 ESG compliance, making sustainability progress transparent and actionable for both individual properties and multi-site portfolios.
AT&C’s energy management system delivers improved guest comfort, easy maintenance, fault alerts and cloud access, measurable cost savings with OpEx flexibility, as well as real-time reporting and CO₂ reduction tracking.
Now, AT&C are offering a complimentary 10-room trial, including professional installation, cloud monitoring, live support and ESG-ready reporting. Once savings are proven, hotels can scale quickly via EMaaS or CapEx models. “It’s not just about energy savings,” adds Nuttall. “It’s about offering a better guest experience, proving ESG alignment, and protecting long-term profitability—all at once.”
