Lutron has given an inside look at the lighting solutions it crafted for Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo. 

The property’s design scheme centres around a concept of ‘breaking through the cocoon for rebirth’. Large, curved windows in the lobby and central bar create a valley of light that showcases the beauty of the canyon. Automated Lutron blinds are integrated into the gentle arc of the curtain wall to control natural light throughout the day, while making the most of the view. 

Organic forms and elegant furnishings lead guests through the lobby and into the guestroom hallways. Each guestroom is designed to respect the relationship between the interior and exterior environment, and to give guests total control of their surroundings. With the tap of intuitive matte black Palladiom keypads, the Lutron myRoom guestroom system allows guests to tailor the room’s lights, drapery and temperature to their exact preferences. The guestroom system also works in tandem with the hotel management system to ensure a seamless experience and keep staff informed of the hotel’s operations. 

For its partnership with Banyan Group, Lutron offered a single-manufacturer solution that allowed for the seamless creation of a restorative, quietly luxurious atmosphere for guests.
