Ena Shaw completes another Hilton

The recently opened Hilton at Ageas Bowl has been fitted with luxurious curtains and soft furnishings from UK-based contract furnishing manufacturer, Ena Shaw Contract.

Located at the home of Hampshire County Cricket, The Hilton at Ageas Bowl features 171 guestrooms, a luxury spa and one of the country’s largest conferences suites. Following a competitive tender process, Ena Shaw Contract started work on the project, installing curtains in public areas, spa, bedrooms, restaurant and bar areas, as well as the main reception.

The prestigious project follows a string of similar appointments with Hilton’s other brands across the UK, including Hampton by Hilton in Sheffield and Hilton Doubletree in Liverpool, Newcastle and Chester.

Stuart Taylor, contract director at Ena Shaw Contract, said: “This was an extremely prestigious appointment for us.

“High-end hotels such as this one need cohesion across the whole establishment, from the colour scheme of the bedrooms to the overall feel in the main reception and restaurants.”

Using fabrics in neutral colours, Ena Shaw Contract finished work across the hotel in a 10-week timeframe.

Taylor added: “We’re proud that our talented team managed to turn this around in such a short space of time, with the utmost professionalism and co-operation. We’re looking forward to working with Hilton on similar projects in the future.”

Ena Shaw Contract is the contract-only arm of soft furnishings specialist, Ena Shaw Group. It has a long-standing history of providing top quality, bespoke soft furnishings in the hospitality sector, with recent projects including curtains, blinds and soft furnishings for international hotel chains and independent family-run businesses.
