Ester armchair by Pedrali at The Dorchester, London
Originally created for the British Alain Ducasse’s restaurant, Ester is the higher quality model in the Pedrali’s upholstered seating collection. The sinuous and soft armchairs, in beige full-grain leather with refined die-casted aluminium legs in brushed bronze finish, integrate with the design of the restaurant, where natural fabrics such as leather, wood and cotton feature in a palette of tan, cream and taupe.
“The design of this armchair is the outcome of the experiences that I could achieve since I started designing restaurants,” commented Patrick Jouin. “Ester armchair is a mix of elegance, ergonomics and functionality. The attention to details is everywhere. The result is a precious monolith made of leather complemented by refined die-casted aluminium legs.”
