Foscarini has unveiled its Spokes III lamp, set to launch in Q3.

Designed by Garcia Cumini, Spokes III’s silhouette channels that of a birdcage or lantern. A discreet LED lighting source positioned at the bottom of the lamp allows for the spoke-like rods to project dynamic shadows on surroundings to convey a sense of movement – a nod to the product’s main inspiration of bicycle spokes.

The fixture keeps the LED lighting within its flexible soft metal rods while at the same time allowing for it to filter through to cast a warm and natural glow.

Available in three colourways – copper, graphite and silver – the lamp suits a number of environment and may also be paired with other spokes shapes to create an interplay of shadows.
