As part of its new luxury seating collection Freifrau Sitzmöbelmanufaktur has revealed the Rubie family, a chair collection designed by Berlin-based studio Murken Hansen.

Inspired by the profile of a quilted blanket casually slung over a wooden chair, the range is characterised by flowing lines and the interplay between function and comfort. Featuring a design that rejects right-angles, the Rubie family comprises a lounge couch, armchair and barstool with low or full-height armrests, all available with wire, steel or wooden frames.
