Hansgrohe shows Select technology

Announced at an exclusive event in its hometown of Schiltach, Germany, Hansgrohe has introduced its popular Select technology to the Talis collection of mixers.

The new range was unveiled with a number of other product extensions and new designs in both the Hansgrohe and Axor brands, set to be presented at ISH in Frankfurt from 10-14 March 2015.

With Talis Select, the flow of water is turned on and off by pressing the Select button instead of using a conventional lever. The technology is purely mechanical and works by means of a specially developed cartridge that controls the water temperature and turns the flow of water on and off. This added convenience requires no electricity or other devices in the base cabinet.

The mixer collection was created in close collaboration with Hansgrohe’s long-standing partner Phoenix Design. Talis Select is available in two versions: with a flat spout or a round, conical spout. The aesthetic appeal of the range lies in its clean lines and the seamless transition of the spout to the mixer body. Intuitive controls make handling easy. Now, thanks to the introduction of the Talis Select range, the entire bathroom – from showerheads, thermostats to basin mixers – can be equipped with Hansgrohe Select products.

The range also features Hansgrohe’s EcoSmart technology, aimed at conserving water with the help of an aerator, and CoolStart function.

Talis mixers are available in a variety of spout heights for different types of basins so that washbasin and mixer not only harmonise in terms of style, but also in terms of practical everyday use.
