Henrik Pedersen designs Amba collection for Point

Henrik Pedersen has released Amba, his latest furniture line with Point, a modular collection suitable for both indoor and outdoor living.

The collection blends functionality with contemporary aesthetic to redefine modularity, placing an emphasis on creativity and experimentation, making it easy to reconfigure compositions based on the moment or purpose.

Designed for both residential and contract settings, each piece functions as an independent module, allowing for infinite configuration possibilities, complemented by coffee and side tables with HPL and porcelain tops. Amba’s modular structure provides tailored solutions that evolve with the needs of each environment.

The collection is available in two distinct backrest versions; while Amba Essence features generous, voluminous upholstery, Amba Woven has an intricate rope weave finish.

The name of the collection is derived from the words ‘ambience’, suggesting a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, and ‘amoeba’, evoking its fluid, adaptable geometry.

“Design should never be static,” Pedersen explains. “It is an expression in motion, evolving over time. Amba embodies this vision, allowing spaces to transform freely, adapting to new ways of living and feeling.

He adds: “Amba offers more than aesthetic and functional modularity; it is a design that invites contemplation and seamless integration with its surroundings.”
