Janus et Cie has furnished the deck and private pool area of Falcon Brae Villa at Stonefly Lodge.

Located in Stanley Brook, New Zealand, Falcon Brae – designed by ES Design – features Janus et Cie furniture, umbrellas and textiles in varying hues of grey to complement the surrounding mountains, Motueka River and national parks.

The deck is furnished with armchairs, barstools, side tables and sofas from the Knot collection, designed by the brand’s founder and CEO Janice Feldman, in addition to the Zumba armchair and Koko II ceramic top dining table.

Elsewhere, the pool area is fitted with chaise lounges and cocktail tables from the Dolce Vita collection, alongside the Janus Aluminium Umbrella Square. The outdoor furniture pieces are complemented by various striped textiles in understated colour-ways, from Barcode to Echo.

Other Janus et Cie collections featured in the project include Duo, Kudo and Matisse.

Falcon Brae houses up to 10 guests in its three suites: The Tasman Suite, The Kahurangi Suite and the Motueka and Bunk Room. The villa also offers access to a commercial kitchen, three dining areas, gym, games room and media theatre.

Janus et Cie, founded in 1978, specialises in design-driven furnishings for the outdoors. The luxury furniture brand – now part of Haworth’s Lifestyle Design family – serves commercial, hospitality and residential clients with a catalogue of over 6,000 pieces.
