Swiss bathroom manufacturer Laufen has unveiled its latest WC technology, named Silent Flush. 

Available on all new Meda and KartellLaufen wall-hung WCs, the new addition to Laufen’s range minimises noise, ensuring minimal disruption between hotel bathrooms and guestrooms. 

“Considering the noise level of the flush might not be top of your list when choosing a new toilet,” says Emma Mottram, Laufen’s Brand Marketing Manager. “But it’s surprising how loud a flush can sound in the middle of the night. With Silent Flush, this is no longer a problem. And as you would expect from Laufen, Silent Flush is also very efficient.” 

Silent Flush operates by spiralling water through the toilet bowl, made possible thanks to the shaping of the inside of the rimless WC, which guides water along an optimised path. The result is a vortex that cleans the toilet using minimal water.
