Manutti fuses nature and craftmanship with the Ogado collection
Brent De Meulenaere has designed the Ogado collection for Manutti, inspired by the fusion of nature’s elegance and timeless design.
Crafted with high-end precision and careful attention to detail, each piece reflects the graceful lines found in nature, from the flowing tabletops in ceramic or teak to the unique, sculpted wooden bases inspired by natural forms.
The Ogado organic dining table stands as a centrepiece that marries functionality with natural beauty. Designed to accommodate up to 12 guests, its elongated form encourages togetherness during gatherings or celebrations.
Meanwhile, the Ogado round dining table blends elegance and practicality, accommodating up to 6 guests, and the Ogado low dining table offers a unique mix of versatility and style, as it is equally suited for relaxed dining or casual gatherings. With its elegant design, the table can easily transform from the round dining table by adjusting the base, providing a lower profile ideal for informal meals.
Each table features a smooth tabletop, available in ceramic or teak, and a sculpted wooden base that adds a touch of craftmanship, making each piece a striking addition to any outdoor setting.
Manutti’s curated selection of premium materials ensures enduring elegance, even in challenging weather conditions. The company prioritises sustainability by selecting only superior quality teak wood, sourced from controlled forest plantations in Indonesia.

As teak ages, it develops a natural silver-grey patina, showcasing great stability against UV radiation, chlorine and sea water. Environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable, Manutti’s teak furniture is suitable for both outdoor and indoor use and can be easily maintained with the teak colour refresher or teak protector.
Ceramic tabletops, the other chosen material for Ogado, are made by combining sand, clay and natural stone into a layer which is baked at 1100°C and then dried and glazed. Different compositions result in a wide range of designs – from unicolour slabs to tops that resemble marble. Contrary to natural marble, ceramic is very hard and impermeable, making it a very resistant material that requires little to no maintenance.
With a background in interior design and product design, Belgian designer Brent De Meulenaere is committed to integrating design with research and development. His creative process goes beyond aesthetics, ensuring each design is both unique and practical to produce. Drawing inspiration from the organic beauty of nature, Brent works with materials like wood, stone and clay to craft timeless pieces that stand out.
The Ogado collection exemplifies his philosophy, with a design inspired by the elegant, irregular patterns of giraffe spots. Brent’s work is both visually appealing and deeply functional – features like the social shape of Ogado tables promote interaction and comfort, combining beauty with a purpose.
