Marset presents Ringo by Joan Gaspar
Marset presents Ringo by Joan Gaspar, a large pendant or ceiling lamp that accentuates material rather than form.
The luminaire features a basic geometric shape in volume, and a materiality that resembles a block of ice, at the same time both solid and weightless. Gaspar’s use of transparent polycarbonate creates optical reflections, giving the impression of an organic design made out of glass.

Ringo’s large size is in keeping with its function, as it is designed to illuminate large and high spaces, including contemporary architectural projects ranging from hotels to contract, in which a lot of light is required.
Its transparency allows it to blend in readily and harmonise with each space, whether featuring alone or in multiples. Ringo’s shade distributes and regulates the direct light homogeneously whilst also revealing what’s happening inside.

Switched on, the luminaire’s transparency defines its volume and filters the light in an interplay of opposites, making the material less dense and its design weightless. Switched off, it remains a forceful object with a strong presence.
Ringo is available in a ceiling version (with a fixed pole or built-in) and a pendant version, in two sizes, 70 and 90cm, and in four finishes: green, rosé, smoke and dark smoke. Height extension poles of 40 and 60cm allow the drop length from the ceiling to be increased while retaining the rigid stem. It also has three colour temperatures: 27K, 30K and 40K.
