MDD unveils outdoor furniture collection
MDD has introduced its new outdoor furniture collection, blending functionality and freedom and unlocking workspaces that go beyond four walls.
Crafted for style, durability and versatility, the collection features Bris, Flaner, Blendy and Luna. Designed to transform patios, terraces and gardens into extensions of the workplace, each piece showcases a timeless design, with clean lines, sleek forms and modern colour palettes that complement both indoor and outdoor settings.
The collection is built to last, crafted with high-quality, UV-resistant, weatherproof and moisture-resistant materials for year-round durability. Each piece is also designed with comfort and functionality in mind, ensuring a space that fosters both focus and relaxation.
Bris chairs are equally at home in restaurant and bar gardens, office and home terraces, as well as dining room interiors. The asymmetrical arrangement of the seat rods attracts attention and provides comfort: they are denser where the user’s weight accumulates, while providing comfortable space for the spine. In addition, the stackability of the chairs makes them easy to store and transport.
Meanwhile, the distinctive feature of the Flaner chairs are their curved legs, which modernise the typology of traditional urban furniture. All elements of the chair have been developed to provide maximum outdoor functionality: the paint is weather-resistant, the legs are finished with washers to prevent sinking into the ground, and optional armrests provide comfortable support for the forearms. Like Bris, the chairs stack for easy storage.
The Flaner range also includes a table, inspired by traditional metal urban furniture with a form that has been modernised with the organic form of its legs. The curved lines of the base are the distinctive element that links it to the rest of the collection and contrasts with the surface of the tabletop.
The minimalist metal Flaner bench, like the other furniture in the collection designed by Maria Jeglińska-Adamczewska, is supported on distinctive curved legs inspired by the shapes of branches. Made of steel with an outdoor powder-coated finish, Flaner is durable, easy to clean and weatherproof, thus particularly suitable for public outdoor spaces.
The outdoor collection also features the Blendy chair. Made from polypropylene using injection moulding technology, it is lightweight and durable. Thanks to its stackability, Blendy is easy to store and move, and does not take up any extra space. Available with or without armrests, it works as a dining or conference chair.
Finally, Luna café table with steel tabletop is a versatile solution for both indoor and outdoor spaces such as canteens, restaurants, bars and cafés and their terraces and gardens. A three-legged frame made of round profiles gives the table a modern character and provides stability of the construction. Thanks to the folding tabletop, Luna can be stacked horizontally for easy storage and optimum use of space.
