Methven expands Aurajet Aio collection

Methven, the global designer and manufacturer of premium showers, has announced the expansion of the Aurajet Aio shower range with the release of two new products.

The new products include the Aio Overhead Shower, which incorporates Aurajet’s unique ‘halo’ design, and the new Aio Shower System. The large Overhead Shower is designed for mains or high-pressures and operates with a wide coverage, while the system fuses the shower with the Aio Shower Handset for a more directed and concentrated spray. The system comes with an integrated diverter to allow for easy switching between the two.

Invisible hidden nozzles on the Aurajet Aio shower generate individual jets of water that collide against angled surfaces within the contours of the shower; using an engineered polymer with hydrophobic properties and silicon rubber nozzles, Aurajet technology reduces and resists the accumulation of limescale.

Aio uses innovative contouring and a modern minimalist composition throughout the range. The entire collection includes shower kits, fixed heads & arms, handset and overhead options available in chrome and chrome and white finishes.

David Banfield, Methven Group CEO comments: “The hugely successful Aurajet shower technology that was designed, developed and manufactured by the team in Auckland was launched globally in March 2015 and is on track to be our most successful product launch yet. We set out to make a shower that not only looks great in the bathroom, but gives a divine and luxurious experience unlike any other available in the market. With that achieved, we are now excited to see the next phase of the Aio range launch in the UK.”
