Northern Lights has unveiled several new lighting collections characterised by craftsmanship, culture and artistry.
Precision-designed and crafted by British artisans, the 70 new pieces celebrate authentic design and age-old traditions, each telling a story of adventure and discovery. Sculptural silhouettes, delicate hammered textures and organic veined alabaster create a striking interplay, with bold statement forms softened through materiality and quiet sophistication.
Inspired by scenic vistas, Vistal pairs an opal or alabaster globe with a sculptural handcrafted base. Individual, laser-cut brass layers create the illusion of delicate pleats, capturing and refracting light in a dance of illumination and shadow. Designed to echo the setting sun, rich, tactile detailing makes Vistal equally striking when illuminated or at rest.
The geometric elegance and delicate craftsmanship of ancient Egypt is embodied within the Cairo collection, with five-sided forms expertly crafted from folded metal. Hammered textures, laced with a rich gold finish, echo the intricate detailing of ancient metalwork.
Quiet opulence at its finest, Geo celebrates both indulgence and restraint, fusing minimalist design with luxurious raw materials. A sense of refined elegance is presented through linear silhouettes, combining organic alabaster with solid brass.
With smooth, lozenge-shaped curves in muted tones and a warm brushed brass interior, Windermere offers playful elegance. The opal glass drum shade adds a contemporary edge, with customisation options including branding, room numbers and signage, designed for hospitality spaces.
Northern Lights’ full Signature Collection can be customised with specialist finishes, from organic patinas and acid treatments to smooth powder coat colours – ensuring that every design is as unique as the space it inhabits. Specialist finish samples are also available to request online.
