Italian furniture manufacturer Pedrali has added backrests to its Buddy collection, a series of poufs designed by Busetti Garuti Redaelli with versatility and function in mind.

Launched at Salone del Mobile, the range comprises a chair, two-seater bench and chaise lounge, which can be combined with softly upholstered poufs to create a family of modular seating. Characterised by soft lines and rounded shapes, Buddy contrasts bold volumes with lightweight frames, and uses functional turning tablets and backrests for greater flexibility and comfort.

Thanks to the different sizes of the poufs and backrests, each offered in two heights, the furniture can cater for the varied needs of contemporary spaces, using modular combinations to achieve versatility and comfort in hotel lobbies and co-working environments.
