Roda presents Rodolfo Dordoni-designed outdoor seating
Outdoor furniture brand Roda has presented Astra, a chic seating collection suitable for a range of hospitality settings.
An elegant range of reclining outdoor seating, Astra was envisioned by architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni as a dedication to starry night skies.
The products’ designs play on the juxtaposition of solid tubular aluminium and cotton-feel ropes, resulting in fresh, light and comfortable seating. The armrests are a particularly stylish feature, formed by a double cylinder covered with cords – the combination adding a chic variation in texture. The products’ front wheels meanwhile are a practical addition, facilitating their movement around spaces.
The Astra collection comprises lounge armchairs with high or low backs, as well as a three-seater sofa. The design of the chairs was imagined to facilitate their combination with other furniture pieces, for instance by matching a stool or a pouf to create a complete garden or patio set.
