Swarovski launches Infinite Aura
Swarovski Lighting has announced the launch of Infinite Aura, a lighting collection designed in collaboration with innovation consultancy Ideo. Featuring a sleek metal disc with a ring of precision-cut Swarovski crystals within the rim, when illuminated the polished circle creates a reflection illusion.
The collection comprises five lighting fixtures: a pendant light in three sizes and a wall or ceiling light in two sizes. The pendants can be customised with a crystal finial, adding a string of faceted crystals along the pendant chain. The Infinite Aura collection also connects to a bespoke Swarovski Lighting app, allowing the user to select from five pre-settings and three pre-set effects, or to create their own mood.
On a scale within the app, users can adjust the temperature of the light from cooler white to warmer yellow, as well as the brightness levels. The LEDs can be dimmed to a 1% whilst the temperature can be set from 2700 Kelvin up to 6500 Kelvin. Once users have discovered their personal preferences, they can save it for later recreation.
