The washbasins are crafted from SaphirKeramik, a lightweight material that is unique to the Swiss manufacturer. The collection combines plastic and ceramic to bring innovations in terms of the physical properties that can be created with ceramic, offering a whole new world of creative possibilities for hotel bathroom designers.
SaphirKeramik allows designs that were previously deemed only suitable for solid surface pieces, achievable using ceramic. This offers practical advantages such as hygiene and durability for hotel bathrooms.
SaphirKeramik also achieves extremely narrow radius on the curvature of corners – up to 1-2 millimeres – resulting in washbasins that are as thin as blades and responding to the trend for minimalism in the modern bathroom.
