The Rug Company has announced its relocation to the heart of London’s design district in Chelsea Harbour. The brand’s new showroom will open its doors in early 2024. 

Architect and designer Nick Leith-Smith designed the 150m² showroom, which features stacks of rugs showcasing the brand’s new collections, as well as a new project studio dedicated to creating bespoke designs. 

A 20-metre double-sided sample wall spans the space, spotlighting a range of designs, textures and colours, accompanied by a room-set installation that demonstrates the latest rugs in a lifestyle setting.
