Tolix transforms outdoor spaces with Patio and T37 collections
Tolix enhances the art of outdoor living with its two collections, Patio and T37 Woven.
The Patio collection, designed by Pauline Deltour and completed in 2024, features a sleek and airy design that combines comfort and durability to elevate terraces and gardens. Alongside it, the T37 Woven collection features metal weaving, playing with light and shadows to create a refined visual effect.
These collections, made from galvanized steel to withstand outdoor elements, embody authenticity, modernity and Tolix’s artisanal craftsmanship.
In the Patio collection, the slim, light and airy slatted bench is both discreet and eye-catching with its distinctive and feminine curves and slats. Each pair of legs is made from a single thin tube that follows a curve, while the seat, made from perforated slats pre-cut with a laser, appears to be suspended.
The use of stainless steel gives this piece both longevity and, through a folding design beneath the seat, a resistance that remains light due to its composition. Paired with tables from the collection, it creates a dining area where nothing obstructs the view, allowing Tolix’s minimalism to shine.
The slatted armchair is the second piece of the Patio outdoor collection, designed by Deltour in 2019. On fine tubes, a laser-cut seat made of perforated slats adds delicacy to an otherwise robust and durable product. A curved tube connects the front legs to the backrest, and the piece can be paired with Patio ottoman, which itself features fine tubes and a laser-cut seat made of perforated slats.
The tables from the Patio outdoor collection provide a bold contrast to the seating in the range, with their fullly galvanized steel tabletops and minimalist lines complementing the interplay of perforated slats found in the chairs and benches. Special attention has been given to the curvature of the tabletop to add softness, and each table is available in various sizes, capable of seating 4 to 12 guests.
Finally, In the T37 Woven collection, Tolix’s first outdoor wall sconce emits a warm, contained light and gently projects the pattern of its casing onto the walls. Designed to withstand the elements, its woven structure surrounding a protective glass creates a captivating play of shadows and light when illuminated.
When turned off, it transforms into a graphic Art Nouveau object, with its light, geometric lines and delicate weaving that contrasts the durability and simplicity of the steel.
